I'd give 10 stars bc he's the rock star of inspectors! There's a reason for his boastful reviews, because it's earned. I was dealing with an in between situation of a home in need of some rehab, therefore very concerned it would not pass the 4 point which I needed to acquire a mortgage to fund the repairs. I'm mentioning this factor since a lot was riding on passing the inspection I was quite nervous but Brett actually took the time and patience to listen to some of the potential issues w/the home, made constructive suggestions to address things ahead of time, even calling me a couple of days later to make me aware of something else that he thought could pose another...read full review
Mr Racine was called from internet search when we received notice from mortgage insurance of no-renewal after we had a New Roof installed in June last year (2021). With these insurance companies no longer checking county records, it first required that a licensed inspector inspect new roofs to verify installation because the insurance company IGNORED info I sent on new roof installation last year. Plus another Wind Mitigation Inspection was required but this time the inspection found we had a secondary water barrier in place with the new roof installation. Wind Mitigation inspections alone on flat roofs are useless if there is no access to look under roof, like attic...read full review
I cannot say enough positive things about Brett and his service he provided. He arrived early to inspect the exterior of the home. While we were waiting for my agent to show up, he walked me around the house showing me items that would show up on the report. Brett was detailed, professional and truly cared about his customer. He never got annoyed by any questions I asked and made sure I understood everything. My report was back to me in under a day and will help me with the purchase of my home.Even though the inspection is complete I have no doubt I can call him at any time with questions about the inspection.I will use Brett again and refer him to any friends in need...read full review
