My experience from start to finish was exceptional! My hair is extremely curly and unruly due to this Florida humidity and Rommy not only made my hair bone straight but it lasted more than a week. She was professional and I couldn’t have been more pleased. I finally found my hairstylist!
She is amazing. She gets my hair so straight. I only give 4 starts because she’s extremely high for a Dominican hair salon, however it is a nice salon and she is the only person doing the work. I’ve never been charged more than 70$ to do my hair and I’ve been going to Dominicans from 2007- now and had it done in boston, baltimore, Atlanta, New Orleans and Philly. Rommy is kind and polite and knows what she is doing but please offer a cheaper day on a slow day.
I moved to st Pete from miami a few years ago and I had a hard time finding a stylist for my Latina hair. I found Rommy and called her and explained I needed color and keratin treatment. She explained her services and I booked my appointment along with the $45 fee to be applied to my services and to guarantee my appointment, which I thought to be very fair. She’s great about reconfirming day before appointment. Her studio is beautiful and located in DTSP. She’s her own solo business.
