I have had several physical therapy sessions over the years at Cora for various problems. They have all helped me so very much. The staff from the therapists to the receptionists have been so accommodating and gave me outstanding help and also information to continue exercises at home once my therapy has been completed. I highly recommend Cora Therapy.

I absolutely love coming to my physical therapy sessions at the South Saint Pete location. They are useful, practical, a great use of my time, and they always put me in a good mood, as I am able to see / feel progress being made. One of the biggest reasons I enjoy my PT at this location is because of the front desk staff. Every time I arrive for my session I am greeted by Mackinsey. At most other medical facilities I’ve been to, the check-in staff does the bare minimum. They check you in and take your payment. Mackinsey does so much more than that. She has taken a genuine interest in me as a person and my care / progress with the treatment of my ankle injury. Before I start my actual PT exercises, she and I have a 5-10 minute conversation which always makes me smile. Mackinsey is a runner too, so it’s great to have someone to talk to about “runner stuff”. Hopefully, she and I can run together someday. Thank you Mackinsey for going above and beyond to make me and the other clients feel at ease for each and every visit to the CORA South St. Pete Clinic.

This week, I had the opportunity to work with Jon, who also happens to be a runner, like me. I immediately warmed up to him as his calm / soft-spoken demeanor readily puts one at ease. Jon walked me through several new exercises and really challenged me this week. Every time he gives me a new exercise, he adds it to the online app, so that I am able to try them at home. Additionally, he has taught me a few extra drills specific to runners that I have incorporated into my training routine. On Tuesday this week, we performed my 4 week progress evaluation. He took some measurements to assess my range of motion and strength level in both my ankles and my hips. We compared my scores to the ones from my initial assessment with Heather 4 weeks ago. I either stayed the same or improved in every category. It was very exciting to see so much progress in such a short amount of time. Thanks so much to Jon and the entire team for helping me achieve such great progress!

I have used this service for physical therapy after two rotator cuff repairs, one on each shoulder, in the same year. Every therapist there has been professional, knowledgable, helpful, and effective. I have regained almost all the use of the arm from the earlier surgery, and am coming along well with the second. I highly recommend this business for any physical therapy needs you may have.
