About Broadway Arts & Dance Academy
Broadway Arts & Dance Academy, a performing arts school run by two professional Broadway performers, offers a variety of classes including ballet, tap, jazz, acting, musical theatre, piano, and voice lessons for children. Students love their instructors and consider the studio "home." The school has a positive influence on students' growth, with one child improving in following directions and having fun. The staff is friendly, and the lessons are enjoyable. Although the facility can be a bit cramped with limited seating and parking, it runs smoothly and efficiently, especially during recitals which are always a great show. The teachers are patient and kind, making students comfortable and eager to attend class. The studio is highly recommended for its welcoming environment and attentive staff.
My 11 year old daughter has been at BADA for only 2 months and performed in the ballet at her first recital this past Saturday (June 4). She has been embraced as part of the family environment since arrival. April, Jason and team foster inclusiveness and diversity - making sure every kid gets to shine is at the heart of what they do. This is a performance studio and the nurturing environment is one in which every child should feel confident and supported. They don’t offer competition and that may be a consideration for some. But if you have a child that wants chances to learn within a friendly environment in dance, theatre, voice or playing an instrument - every single one will be given the opportunity to grow and perform. There are a few adult classes also on offer and lots of opportunity for the whole family to support their young performers by volunteering. This is a young, growing business which hopefully will receive lots of community support as they grow and mature!
Miss April is an angel! My niece has blossomed with her. After the recital she can’t wait to take singing classes too.
Hands down the best dance studio around for everyone of all ages! My daughters have been attending classes since BADA opened! We continue to be amazed by their growth and passion for teaching these kids what they love! We just had our 3rd recital with them and it was absolutely magical to watch. Thank you April and Jason for taking our kids under your wings and loving them like they are your own! We love and appreciate all that you do for everyone!
