The office staff are professional, timely, and kind, making patients feel comfortable and cared for. Physicians are compassionate, thorough, and take the time to address patients' concerns without rushing. The clinic is family-friendly, with easy insurance and billing processes. Patients appreciate the open communication, bedside manner, and quick lab turnaround, making it a positive experience. The front desk is appropriately staffed, and calls are answered politely and handled professionally. The Doctor's assistants are competent, pleasant, and caring. Dr. Threw is excellent, knowledgeable, and takes his time to listen; he explains what needs to be done and why. Facilities are quirky but clean, and there is hardly any waiting time. However, for lab work, the office may have difficulty sending testing orders to a lab or receiving and sending faxes, so patients are advised to obtain a copy of their test results before their next appointment. Overall, the clinic is highly recommended, with the staff going out of their way to make patients feel special from the moment they walk in the door. Dr. Threw, Claire, and the long-time assistant Danielle are praised for their attentiveness and professionalism, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Kathryn Syed. From the very first appointment, she made me feel heard, valued, and genuinely cared for. She takes her time with her patients, listens carefully, and never makes you feel like just another name on a schedule.
Dr. Syed is incredibly thorough and thoughtful in her approach. She answers questions with patience, explains things clearly, and always makes sure I feel comfortable and understood. It is so rare to find a physician who combines such excellent medical care with such genuine compassion.

Dr. Syed is the best! I’ve been seeing her for about four years, and now I travel nearly two hours just to continue my care with her. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and always takes the time to listen. I truly appreciate the excellent care she provides and highly recommend her.
I am relatively new to this practice and it is far away from my home. My physician, Kathryn Syed, MD now works with this office and I don’t trust anyone else with my medical needs. I was please by the clinic. The front desk staff was friendly, the medical assistant was also very friendly. Being that Dr. Syed is the only physician (outside of a specialty) I will allow to treat me, I was worried that I would have issues with insurance, distance, professionalism, office cleanliness or anything else that could happen. I was relieved that I did not. I will continue to patronize Afflicted Health Clinics as long as my doctor is there. Great facility!
