I brought my little dog with big issues in for bloodwork- I told the technician Marcell that he bites. She took him from me and talked to him so softly, I saw him relax. She was able to draw blood AND cut his nails ( which nobody has been able to do). No muzzle. THANK YOU to these well qualified professionals! You are appreciated.

I just moved to St. Augustine and needed to find a vet for my dog. So lucky to have found Matanzas River when my dog had an ear infection. Extremely easy to set an appointment, the staff and veterinarians are incredibly kind to the animals, and everyone is knowledgeable. It appears I’ve found our new vet for the years to come.
Our dogs are definitely a handful, especially our boy Jones and our girl Blue, our first dog. Jones is still a baby and super sweet, but with a very big personality! Everyone has always been so kind and handles them with such care, and it’s such a relief whenever we have to travel knowing they’re in the best hands and have access to any medical care they might need.
Since we got Blue a few years ago, everyone has been amazing. We truly appreciate the patience, kindness, and flexibility you’ve always shown with our dogs. It means so much to know they’re well cared for when we can’t be with them, and we’re so grateful for everything you do.
