Can't say enough good things about this place! My 3 and 5 year old both had a blast - plenty of hands on displays to keep them interested. Staff was really friendly and the playground is a good size and totally fenced. Plus there's a helicopter inside! We'll be back (and probably once without the kids so we actually have time to read the fact signs). And its FREE!
This is such a gem! Makes bugs fascinating. The new educational building is amazing. Highly recommend for curious kids and adults. Tomomi and Jen gave a wonderfully informative tour. Take the mock up flight over the area.
The Disease Vector Education Center aka Mosquito Museum is awesome! This is a fantastic attraction for families with kids with free admission. The staff that runs this facility are incredibly passionate about what they do and create a wonderful environment for kids to learn and explore nature, biology and the insect world. The facility is beautiful and has plenty of exhibits. I was honestly shocked at how interesting it all is. As a taxpayer within the district I completely support this.
