“I love Bayshore and my dog’s doctor, Dr. Learning. He has taken such great care of “us”! After we made it through Hurricane Helene, then Milton, stuck on the island with nothing for days, my little old Yorkie made it through, we were both worse from the wear. I took her in for a bath, no water at home, , and her goopy eyes, looking pretty beat up. I told Dr Learning that a few people wanted me to put her to sleep, he said, “No, after what she’s been through and survived with congestive heart failure, not today. They gave her a bath, gave me meds for her eyes, and he gave me a hug, and told me to drive careful to my brother’s house a couple hundred miles away. I’m so happy he was there for me! Her little eyes are sparkling again, he coat is good, and I took her for a walk just the other night!

“I bought my dog in critical condition and they referred me to go to an er vet. He ended up up needing surgery and they called and checked up on him a few days after. He did end up passing away from an aggressive cancer. But the compassion got from this place is amazing beyond words. If I was to get another dog I will be coming here for sure.“
