Skyway Animal Hospital

Skyway Animal Hospital is a veterinary clinic known for its caring and compassionate staff, including Courtnee and Dr. Slocumb. They are praised for their thorough and old-school approach, ensuring the health and well-being of pets without ordering unnecessary items. The hospital is appreciated for its genuine care towards animals and their families, even during difficult times such as pet loss.

The doctors and techs are highly skilled, taking their time to explain findings and necessary treatments. They are commended for their prompt care and for making new clients feel welcome, such as those recently moved to Florida. The hospital has been updated with new renovations, and the staff is very friendly. Miles, a pet that received updated vaccines, particularly enjoyed visiting Dr. Jones. Support for a locally owned business is easy, especially as it’s becoming harder to find animal hospitals in St. Pete that haven’t sold to a corporation.

Although Skyway Animal Hospital is still considered expensive, clients recognize the staff’s dedication to their pets’ health rather than focusing on profits. The compassion shown during difficult times, such as when a pet passed away from an aggressive cancer, highlights the genuine care of the team. Overall, Skyway Animal Hospital is a recommended choice for those seeking a veterinary clinic that truly cares about their furry friends.
