I would highly recommend Dr Allen to anyone who's looking for an extremely knowledgeable thorough and compassionate veterinarian!! His practice is not close to our home but worth the drive so our dog can get excellent care!!

The staff at Animal Hospital of Treasure Island is wonderful! My Papillon children see Dr. Thompson and she is so caring and attentive. When the dogs have had surgeries (2 per dog) I love that I get calls when they start the procedure and as soon as they are done, directly from the doctor. While my dogs have never had major health problems, I feel that they are in good hands. The front desk staff and the techs know my pups by name the minute we walk in and always make us feel welcome. I also like that it is easy to text or use an app to make appointments or requests for a callback or medication.

Dr. Allen is by far the best veterinarian we’ve ever had. He is exceptionally honest, explains symptoms clearly, and offers thoughtful, practical advice.
I was saddened when his original office in Treasure Island closed due to hurricane damage, but grateful he reopened in Seminole Blvd. and continues providing outstanding care.
His staff is friendly, and above all, Dr. Allen is truly trustworthy. Highly recommended!!!
