The staff, including helpful members in the office, are praised for their friendliness and dedication to assisting customers in finding the perfect plants to suit their needs and budgets. Customers express satisfaction with the stunning, healthy plants they receive from Tropiflora, making it a local tradition. Though the nursery suffered from the hurricane and is still recovering, it remains open and continues to ship plants. Visitors are encouraged to check in at the office, which has a unique history tied to the owner's stepfather's 50-year hobby. Notably, there is a long snake skin pinned on the wall near the ceiling, adding to the character of the space. Customers also appreciate the beautiful driftwoods available for sale. With its extensive collection, Tropiflora continues to be a beloved destination for plant lovers.
The staff was exuberantly friendly and I hope to come back before closing in October. Pretty magical place, I’m excited to watch my new babies grow. 💚
Also kudos to the gal that runs the social media aspect for them, she and the team were able to relay very helpful information and seemed to enjoy being helpful every time I had questions over the years.
I am wishing for hopeful opportunities for the Tropiflora company and the staff and everyone involved. 🌿

They still have a lot of hurricane damage and don't allow customers in most of the air plant growing greenhouses because they are make shift. A large bromeliad, non air plant (tillandsia) type, greenhouse is open.
But they have more air plants than most stores set out on display and will get whatever you want, if you know what you are looking for specifically. Prices were good compared to getting them from retail resellers in the Midwest where we are from.
