The Sarasota School of Massage Therapy is a renowned institution dedicated to training skilled, responsible, and compassionate massage therapists. Established in 1978, the school has assembled an inspiring faculty with over 300 years of collective experience in the field. SSMT cultivates powerful personal growth and awareness, offering a phenomenal curriculum that prepares successful professionals. As a former student attests, this was the best massage school to attend, providing not only excellent therapeutic training but also valuable knowledge that has served graduates well in their careers. While students may not always deliver the exact massage experience expected, the clean and straightforward process is appreciated. The school has transformed lives, shaping individuals into caring, professional massage therapists through its unwavering love, support, dedication, and compassion.
SSMT is truly a beautiful place to learn. Our class was blessed with the best teachers which made it a joy to learn! I highly recommend this school. Attending SSMT was one of the best decisions I've made.
This school gave me more than an education, they also gave me a community. I could not recommend this SSMT enough, the staff on all levels is amazing. You can really feel how much they truly care about the success of each student. The curriculum was excellent and more than enough to pass the MBLEx and allow me to come out of school feeling like a confident and well-rounded massage therapist!
Omg. As a student I can say this is the best school ever. What other school can you go to where you get four free massages a week?! The staff here is amazing. My A&P teacher Chris Dux is one of the most self sacrificial people I know. If you are ever struggling he will always be there to help. Maya is a bright ball of energy that has a wide array of massage techniques to show and teach. Lisa with hydrotherapy makes every class exciting. Being able to do paraffin wax treatments on each other or mess around with the hot packs, hot stones, or ice cups was great. There are so many more teachers, I can't think of a single bad thing to say about any of them. Everyone's amazing...read full review
