Sarasota Memorial Park has seen significant improvements recently, with well-kept gravesites and maintained lawns. Visitors have noticed the dedication of the staff, including helpful individuals like Julio, who assist in locating specific sites. The groundsmen are praised for their fantastic work, including weedeating and regular mowing, making the park look much nicer than before. Overall, the facility is receiving the care it needs, leading to a more pleasant environment for visitors.
My experience, from the very beginning, has been more than I ever expected. From making the final arrangements for my husband to visiting him each day, I never imagined how much certain people care enough to see if I am alright. One worker, Juilo, has been very kind. I see how hard he works, and yet, he always has time to wave to me, stop and talk with me, and see if I need anything. Still grieving for the loss of my husband, seeing a friendly face each day lets me know that my husband's remains will be taken care of the way I want them to be. That helps give me peace of mind. What more can a person ask for.
I was very impressed with the office and caretakers. I have 10 family members buried here-with some ranging back to the 1950’s. The guys in the office took the time to locate all my relatives, highlight maps to the plots and even helped me find some that I couldn’t find myself. The grounds are well maintained. One caretaker saw me struggling to put flowers in the ground, so he walked over to show me that the flower vases are flipped upside down in the grave markers. Thanks again for all the help!
I understand that people have deceased loved ones at this location but the 2 guys that work there have been doing their best job even after 2 hurricanes back to back it looks like they have turned that place around. I heard they have repairs that need to be handled but will take time as they have only 2 guys working there . Keep it up . Stay hydrated 😇✌️
