Don’t hire them or you’ll get a lien from the subcontractor! The accounting department itself has many pending payments to subcontractors who have issued notice to home owners regarding nonpayment and claim of lien. Unfortunately inspite of us paying Red Dog on time and in full, they have delayed the subcontractor payment and not paid many weeks of multiple calls and texts to remind them. We got the work done last year and got the notice Jan 20th. They still haven’t paid as of today and are making payments for homes done before us. Beware of this situation and know that subcontractors have no empathy for you that you have nothing to do with the payment and Red Dog is the only one who can solve this issue but they’re behind on payments. This is the second time for me dealing with a lien from subcontractors, it’s an unfair law to us homeowners but the only way for subcontractors to get their payment (apparently). Least to say, it’s such an unnecessary pain. So do yourself a favor and make sure to hire contractors who don’t have a history of this kind. We’re also left with some pending steps. But the roof is done and payment made in full from our side on time.

This co. will say what you want to hear, but they can’t be trusted to follow through. My experience with the owner is far worse than you would expect from someone who talks a big game. You’re taking a big risk to work with them in any capacity.

Had my asphalt shingle roofing replaced by Red Dog's (Florida) 13 months ago with Owens Corning shingles. To begin with the shingles were unloaded and sat on the roof for three weeks before the work was begun. That was 3000 sq. ft. of shingles in a small area of the roof. The shingles weighed approximately 8,000 pounds give or take. We were lucky the roof did not cave in. Then against my better judgement we elected to have the fascia wrapped with aluminum thinking it would save me time and materials in the future. White metal was shipped and stored on my property but when the fascia was attached it was tan in color. I didn't realize it until it was installed. Someone took it on their own to install the tan colored fascia when it was agreed upon to install fascia close to the color of the trim on the house. The trim is almost white so when I saw the facia that was delivered was white I was alright with it. Soon after the installation was completed there were dark streaks dripping down from the roof onto the fascia. No-one from RedDog's seamed to know what it was. Pressure washing wouldn't remove it so they sent a crew out with chemicals to remove the dark streaks. Soon after the next rain the streaks appeared again. It was oozing out from under the shingles. In the meantime several sections of the fascia have fallen off and there are other sections hanging loose. Mind you, there were no hurricanes since the work was supposedly completed. So, you can't blame it on the wind. Needless to say it was a very poor installation. Several of my neighbors have had the same shingles (Owens Corning) and have had no oozing out from the roofing. So, what's the problem? Faulty roofing materials? Faulty installation? Definitely very poor fascia installation.

I highly recommend Red Dog Roofing company. From the estimate to finish… They communicated with me every step of the way they assigned their “” Amish crew” Phil And his crew worked nonstop and cleaned up Behind themselves every day! I am very grateful and appreciative that I was able to get my Roof replaced by such a good company!

Don't walk run from this incompetent roofing company. I won't get into the details but I'm aghast at the level of unpreparedness the people supposedly representing this company have.
