I've been seeing Vanessa for hair and makeup for special events for about three years. I absolutely LOVE my time with her. Not only is her work impeccable, she is a joy to spend time with! No matter what I ask of her, she makes me look and feel amazing. We've done everything from traditional glam (smoky eyes, etc.) to Tulum-club-themed make-up, and she knocks it out of the park every time. At each event, multiple people (friends and strangers alike) ask "WHO did your make-up?! It's incredible!" I cannot recommend her enough; she's fabulous!

She was absolutely amazing professional, welcoming, and incredibly talented. My makeup was flawless and lasted beautifully. I’ve been to her twice now, and each experience has been exceptional.

I had an excellent experience with Vanessa for a makeup lesson! One hour wasn't enough for me because my knowledge was very low. I should have booked 90 minutes (although I happily paid for the extra 15 minutes that we extended). Vanessa taught me functional techniques for both daily wear and party glam. She teaches in the best possible way: she started with one small part of my left eye and then I copied it on the right. Then we moved on with my watching her do the next step and then mimicking her on the other side of my face. She explained the why and the how, followed by her writing notes on a diagram of a face.
