From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, friendly, and extremely professional, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the entire massage. The massage itself was excellent—they found all my tight spots and effectively addressed them. I feel much lighter and more relaxed now. This is my new go-to massage spot.
If you’re looking for a light, relaxing Swedish massage, this isn’t the place. Ocean Spa leans more toward deep tissue, shiatsu, with stretching and even some glute/sciatic work. They use plenty of oil (thankfully followed by hot towels) and include some unique touches like shaking arms and legs. The sheet work isn’t perfect, but the massage itself is thorough and very different from mainstream spas. Payment and tip are taken upfront. They also have bars over the bed for Lomi Lomi style massage if you ask, where the therapist stands on your back and uses their feet. Best massage in years!! I canceled my membership at the chain company down the road. My lower back was really bothering me and Ocean Spa was able to fit me in the schedule last minute. My back hasn't hurt for the first time in years! The two massage therapists I met, Alice and Lala are absolutely wonderful too. They don't have a membership but they offer a complimentary session after your visit card is filled up. Love this place!
