I am so impressed with Chip's Auto. Got the recommendation from a NextDoor post and twice he's crushed it. He's quick, professional, will tell you exactly what's going on in plain language, but mostly he's honest and incredibly fairly priced. His recommendations to other shops he doesn't do work on are also superior. I trust him implicitly with our vehicles.

My car was making loud engine noise -passenger side. Pep boys tried to hit me up for 2k Took it to Chip's auto and they took care of alternator and belt for 1/2 the price. Pleasant crew all around

My 2017 Nissan Frontier pick up was still on its original brake pads so I decided to get some estimates. Being a "car guy" I knew what I wanted and was amused by what some places said to me. I first went to Tuffy on Big Bend and they wanted to replace the brakes and rotors to the tune of $796!!! Then I went to Mavis in Wimauma and the salesman there just did not have time to see; came back when he asked me to and I was told he was busy and could I leave it with him... NO! Then I read a real positive review on FB of a shop in Ruskin called Chips Automotive so I decided to drive over. The owner, Chip, was great.
