About The Yoga Sanctuary
The Yoga Sanctuary is a small sanctuary in the heart of Punta Gorda’s historic district, providing a warm, safe, and gorgeous studio environment. It is an absolutely magical and amazing gem, dedicated to sharing the beauty and benefits of yoga with the community. The studio offers a full range of terrific and diverse yoga classes for people of all ages and experience levels, from brand new students to seasoned yogis. It also features empowering year-round workshops, a top-notch teacher training program, and a boutique with yoga supplies. Every teacher and staff member is caring and goes above and beyond, inspiring students in positive ways. Students leave class feeling like new, finding the right fit for their wellbeing. The studio opens 30 minutes prior to all scheduled classes seven days a week. While parking can be tricky, there is plenty available nearby. The Yoga Sanctuary is highly recommended for nurturing body, mind, and spirit.

Years. It is the best yoga experience I’ve ever had. From classes to retreats to personal services. It is a welcoming and caring space, made possible by the instructors and service providers.
Today I would like to give a shout out to Heaven Lea, the newest massage therapist. She is excellent. Well trained. Knows how to help with and improve degenerative issues. She has really helped with my lower back issues. She knows how to target and work on
problems specific to each person’s needs. I highly recommend Heaven Lea.
I have participated in the beginner group classes. Welcoming environment and surroundings. Excellent leadership. Massage services by Heaven-Lea, was by far the best. She introduced me to somatic massage. After suffering life changing injuries, this was by far the most effective treatment I have had in years. Her intuitive touch and caring manner was exceptional.
Due to life events and Covid I haven't been able to find time for yoga, 3 years later I was finally able to make a class. After all this time the studio is still amazing!! If I could give 10 stars I would. My class was with Jackie and I loved her teaching style. I left class feeling like a new women. Can't wait to return.
