We have now been living in our new Synergy Home Ibis model with a covered porch for almost 90 days. We placed our deposit on a home in Port St Lucie that had already started to be built but didn't have a reservation yet. While we didn't get to pick the model, we couldn't be happier with what we selected. We did however get to completely modify the inside to our liking and was able to add any upgrades/change orders that we needed. The entire process from start to finish for us was about 5 months. They were ready ALMOST before we were ready, but it all worked out. The initial process was a little daunting as it was our first new home build and the communication got a little difficult when we were first starting out. They do provide you with an app that gives you almost daily pictures of your build and access to your plans and any change orders you may place, however I never got a response from any messages I sent through the app. Change orders outside of their norm can get a little pricey, and some things just made more sense for us to do after the fact, like installing an electric vehicle charger. Towards the end of our build we started working directly with our superintendent Brent Rochester, and we were completely sold from then on. He made us feel very comfortable with our decision, any issues that we had or discovered, and continued to keep up with us post closing to ensure all of our needs were met. He literally sealed the deal for us in how we felt with the whole process. We did a good walk through right before closing and while we were at the closing table he spent the time personally addressing our minimal concerns (paint spots, cleaning up areas etc). After we moved in there were a few times we reached out to him with questions and he was there in minutes to help us out or show us how to work something. There is no doubt that Synergy builds a great home, but having team members like Brent really change the outlook and feel of how you deal with any concerns that may come about. Let's face it, this is a completely newly built home, there is bound to be SOME issues. Lucky for us, they have all been small and quickly fixable, and Brent did everything in his power to make sure we were satisfied post closing. I find it important to mention that we were not ignored or discarded after we closed. We continued to have a POC that made the process seamless. Give that man a raise! Highly recommend Synergy. Even my realtor marveled at how great of a builder they were and how happy she was that we selected them. It was also her first experience with them and she was clear on how their experience was much better and more responsive/reactive than most builders. Thank you for our home. You truly made it what we envisioned. We couldn't be happier.
