My husband and I relocated from Maryland a little over a year ago. My medical situation is complicated.....skin condition, Neuropathy, Type 2 Diabetes, back/hip/knee pain, Chronic Sinusitis, Osteoarthritis, allergies and Thyroid issues. So, immediately after moving, I began the daunting tasks of searching for new doctors ....Primary Care and Specialists. The doctors I found are ok, but none of them seems interested in wanting to treat the underlying causes of my may issues....they all wanted to treat the symptoms, which I was no longer was content to keep doing. After pondering and pondering, I decided to look for alternative form of treatments, which was when I found Dr. Marcela on Google. I called her office and was offered a free consultation. After my consultation with her, I decided to at least give her a try. I've been seeing Dr. Marcela for, I think, almost two months now. So far, she seems very knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and quite capable of managing the huge challenges of treating my many complicated issues. I especially like that she's a good listener. I LOVE that her core belief is finding & treating the root causes of medical issues rather than just treating the symptoms. I feel blessed that I found Dr. Marcela..... because of her, the weight of my medical issues are not as heavy anymore. My treatment is still on-going because I've had many of these issues for years. I was skeptical but had seen how others benefited from acupuncture. I was having several issues that were not getting better with traditional methods. Marcela listened to me and I began visits about a year ago. I’m happy to say that all of the issues have gotten better and I cannot imagine how I would be now without her.

Marcela is one of the few people who still believes in stimulating divine energy within the human body. If anyone takes on such a mission, deserves respect. My husband and I are going to her for treatments, you cannot find in any mainstream medical environment. She is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. I highly recommend her !
