About LA Fitness
LA Fitness is a well-maintained gym with a variety of equipment and group classes, including cardio kickboxing. The gym offers a clean and organized facility, with newer machines, although some treadmills may be outdated. Members appreciate the excellent customer service provided by the staff. While the gym can get crowded during peak hours, it is a great option for those looking for a good workout experience. The basketball court and racquetball courts are also popular among members. The on-site smoothie store is an added convenience. Overall, LA Fitness provides a welcoming environment for its members, although some may find the atmosphere a bit intimidating, especially for those new to the gym.
For $50/month I was very disappointed. At least this location. The place looks old, the gym is on the small side just looks big cause it’s two floors. With all the gyms in the Plantation area Amped, Crunch, UFit this location has to step up its game. Honestly the only thing I would go back for was the racquetball which was well maintained and being actually used by players of all ages. I was recently invited to a new for me club called EoS, and I have to say it puts this location to shame for less money. It’s just a little far for me to go often so can’t consider it.

I really enjoy working out at LA Fitness and appreciate the facilities. One thing that could make the experience even better would be if the gym opened at 7 a.m. on weekends, similar to other gyms in the Plantation area. This would give members more flexibility to fit in their workouts earlier in the day.
Clean, plenty of alternatives, pool and the best staff ever.
I forgot my watch in the showers and two days later they have found it and give it back to me. Honest people here
