Personal Enrichment through Mental Health Services (PEMHS) has been committed to providing care in crisis since 1981. The organization's dedicated staff and comprehensive range of programs are designed to meet the needs of children, adults and families with the goal of building strong communities. PEMHS is a private, non-profit behavioral health care organization located in Pinellas County, Florida. Programs include a 24-hour suicide hotline, emergency screening and crisis intervention services, inpatient services for adults and children, residential services for children and community based programs. Clients have expressed appreciation for the prompt and understanding care they received. Case workers were described as great advocates and listeners, ensuring clients and their families had the support and resources they needed. Clients have also praised the inspiring classes and the mentorship provided by staff members, who pushed them to grow and achieve more. Clients have thanked staff members like Yamalee, Amber, and Ashley for their help, support, and kindness during difficult times. The PEMHS team has been praised for their genuine care, willingness to assist, and ability to provide practical resources and emotional reassurance to those in need.
I came to visit my nephew and I can truly say my expierence was unforgettable the staff greeted me very kindly but ther was one staff in particular named tierra she did a absolute amazing job with my nephew despite the circumstances she was kind considerate understanding and compassionate when caring for him he told me she was the nicest one there very respectful young lady there should be more people in the world with a attitude and heart like hers if anyone has anyone in there if she still there I would recommend speaking with her 💙
Reading the previous reviews breaks my heart. But is also why I feel need to write our own personal review. My 13 yr old daughter was self harming and agreed willingly to go and seemed eager to get help.
So while she was in that space I called around and after calling about 15 people who said either call the cops or bring her to the hospital (neither which I wanted to do because those resources were not needed at that time) I was able to get in touch with this facility.
They told me bring her down and they would help her. So I took her there Wednesday morning and she was released Sunday evening. She was able to call me a couple times each day for about 5 minutes...read full review
The Staff at Eleos were extremely respectful, and understanding, and kind at all levels of the organization.
The Techs: Rica, Doron, Mercedes, B'leaka, Katrinia, Brian, David, Maochi, Calder, Eve, Tesa, and Talen were friendly, understanding and caring.
The Janitors: Jeff and Tasha were resilent, respectful, and reliable.
The Nurses: Tera, Patrick, Scott, Williams, April, Sharon, Barbara, Demetrius, Aya, and Jhonny were kind and caring too.
Valorie, Liz, Alyssa were also super nice too. If I forgot of anybody, please excuse me, the whole facility was great.
