Musca law is not a local law firm as they promote. It is a large composite of lawyers in many areas. They were given a $10000.00 retainer fee for one lawyer who did a call to the client and one court appearance. He then left the organization soon after. We hired a new lawyer. I have contacted Musca law several times over the past month to discuss the return of the retainer fee in part or full as $10000.00 is a great deal of money for the minor service provided. I am always told they will call me back and settle this.

I hired them for an hour consultation and planned on paying them a $10,000 retainer. Prior to this call I spent an hour on the phone with the intake attorney. When I finally got to have my consultation the attorney “Tom McGuire” didn’t have the notes frok my intake and was one of the rudest people I have professionally met in awhile. I mentioned the non profit I was co-founder of because its part of the story and the attorney even said he donated money to us at one point and then refused to hear my story and abruptly ended my consultation after 5 min. They basically robbed me of $500 dollars and they refuse to reimburse me or return any of my calls.
My experience with Musca Law was extremely disappointing.
I had a court hearing scheduled for the morning of December 30, 2025. When I contacted the assigned attorney the afternoon before the hearing, he did not recognize me and had no knowledge of my case and had not prepared. Follow-up emails asking about preparation received no response.
As a result, I was required to request a continuance in court myself. I later terminated the representation.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm.
