Heat pump quit around midnight July 22nd, with brutal heat present in the area. Awakened at 2:30 a.m., temperature 77 degrees in home with temp rising. I called 7 different local companies starting at 7:00 a.m. The only company that called back was Hamrick (Andy). He came out about 5:00 and had the unit (bad capacitor) running by 6:00 after chasing down the part needed for repairs. Andy exhibited excellent professional behavior, was forthcoming with all sorts of information about heat pumps in general, and my unit. I’ll be using Hamrick for all of my HVAC needs in the future.

These are great folks! They installed my HVAC system 7 years ago, and when I had a problem recently they were so responsive. One of their technicians accidentally put on a new thermostat control that was not ideal for my system (though it still worked) and they came out promptly and replaced at no charge. They also worked hard to get me a needed part for my system before the recent cold snap, and the technician Buddy called me every day or so to update me on getting the part and then he came out and installed it as soon as it came to their office. Really appreciate the Hamirck team and their commitment to being fairly priced and great quality. Sadly, it seems rare to find a company that does things the right way and when one does you right, it's very refreshing.Also, thankful to have a cold house again!Services: Repair HVAC
