Very frustrated with Clearway. My lady friend who suffers from extreme pain during her December visit was told her prescription would be sent to her pharmacy by 3 pm that same afternoon (Friday). It wasn't. After Clearway had closed the pharmacy advised that they were out of the meds and that we needed to contact Clearway. The after hours "emergency" contact was fruitless, meaning my friend had to do without her meds the entire weekend. Yours truly went early Monday morning demanding that something be done. Dr O'Hara in Navarre is very personable, very competent. The staff however are definitely subpar at the fri t desk. They appear to be very lazy, unkempt in appearance, communication skills are very poor. They do not file request for records release from other facilities, they refuse to let you speak to the physician, they refuse to give the physician a message even though the physician was in office and the waiting room was empty. it is clear that the corporation itself is there to maximize insurance benefits of clients rather than take good care of clients. I was referred to clear way pain solutions on Sorrento Road. When I presented my medication's from my previous primary care physician in Georgia, I was told that she would not prescribe anything without seeing my medical records, despite me showing her my prescription bottles.Five weeks later, I returned, hoping that they would've received my medical records since I had sent the approval forms for transfer. I was told they were not there, and that I would have to fill out the forms again. I ask why they couldn't use the information that I had before , since I would have to manually find contact and fax numbers on my phone. I was never given a reason.
