Ashley, a dedicated and sincere instructor, approaches yoga from a deeply communal and empowering standpoint, focusing on the practice's connection to Black women and spirituality. With a strong emphasis on physical, mental, and intellectual growth, the studio provides a unique and transformative experience for its students.
This place is a SCAM! Do NOT give this business any of your money, especially if you found them on Instagram or Facebook for Yoga Teacher Training!Ashley will take your money and deliver no training or certificate, at all. She’s been doing this for years, and getting away with it unfortunately. Check out this business on Better Business Bureau and see for yourself, they have an F rating!! You will never get your money back from them.
Gave over $1000 and was ghosted. Yoga Alliance didn’t help either. There is no hope. Please read all the other reviews as the hurt is real. Please refund my money, take me off your email lists & either give me wine or my money back for the vineyard that never turned into anything.Refund all of our money, you have so many ppl upset with you.
Black Prana Yoga was excellent!Ashley ran a 200hr yoga teacher training course during the pandemic in 2020. I believe I took the course in the summer. It was not easy. I am so glad that the course pushed me physically, mentally and intellectually. We learned about the history, yoga as it relates to the black woman and spirituality. We learned mind/body connection and had a host of professionals teaching different aspects of the practice. Everything was online in zoom and we came together as a group learning and growing deeper in the practice.
