I recently had carpeting installed thru Home Depot. I was lucky to catch a sale at an appropriate timing for when I needed the carpet. Their store team (@ the Alton store) were super helpful in getting me samples to take home; & they were able to quickly get me a home measurement; & then coordinated the install to fit my schedule. The install team were terrific. Well exceeded my expectation. I was texted the day before, called an hour and also 5 minutes before arrival. The installers were professional, clean and finished the job quickly. I’m so pleased with everything as this was not something I had anticipated doing at this given moment. The technician Chris did a great job and very knowledgeable, on time with good communication. The digital assistant (AI) was problematic. We had trouble with our address and after multiple calls trying to straighten it out , never being able to speak to a real person had doubts about this company. We had to call Home Depot sales lady to get help with her supervisor. I feel the AI was ok until there was an issue. There should be a backup human to help solve issues. At some point we questioned this company and wanted to notify Home Depot with the issue. Fast and friendly service this morning, I was able to get in and out quickly with a knowledgeable staff member. we answered all my questions regarding the rental of the tools for a project we are working on
