Pet Boarding Training near Palm Bay

“The best thing we could have done!! We took our 1 year old German Shepherd to Off Leash and Holli was our trainer.Our pup was very unsocialized as he had many health scares at the beginning of his life. With this came a lot of anxiety / fear when going out and facing new people, places, and things. It officially became a problem when my boyfriend took him to the vet and he was uncontrollably barking at other dogs and barking at the vet tech. It was impossible for anyone to calm him down, they had to leave and come back the next day with our boy on sedatives. That “solution” was not a solution for us. We want our GSD to have the best life possible as he is apart of our family, so we reached out to Off Leash.We started out at a popular park and practiced basic commands like come and sit. While he already kind of knew these commands, the real test was keeping his focus and ignoring outside distractions. The amount of progress just from the beginning to end of the first session was astonishing! By the end of our 6 week course, he was walking around stores quietly and confidently while coexisting with other dogs. He received many compliments on how well behaved he was and it really highlighted just how much Off Leash training paid off!The best part about this program is getting to learn right alongside our bud. Every session Holli went above and beyond when explaining commands, his behaviors/thinking, and body language. She was so knowledgeable and gave us a ton of insight that we now feel like we know our dog inside out. She was always open to questions and answered them thoroughly. When we came across him showing signs of aggression again between sessions during week 4, we reached out to Holli and she adapted our next session to work on interactions with other dogs. She even came out to our neighborhood to work in the location where he showed signs of having problems. Absolutely wonderful, and again, so much progress made in just one session!!We are so grateful for everything Holli has done to help us and our sweet guy. I have loved every second of watching him grow and I cannot wait to see what’s in store for him Thanks so much Holli!!!“

“I'm so thankful for Dr. Long and the staff at Animal Medical Clinic. I called early on a Tuesday morning (2/28/23) expressing concerns I had about my 16 year old Yellow Labrador. After a couple of assessment questions, I was instructed to bring her in right away. I knew in my heart that the news would not be good. After examining my Jenny, Dr. Long had assessed there was the possibility of a ruptured spleen. He offered several tests as an option, but I knew in my heart it was time to let her go. I was a mess. They were all so gracious with me as I wept over my Jenny, giving me ample time to grieve my loss in the examining room. They even brought blankets in so I could lie next to her, hold her, and say goodbye. I chose to have a private cremation so I could have her ashes with me. The turnaround time was fast, and she was back home within the week. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had done a cast of her paw ? The packaging, the box, and the card were all so beautiful and touching. I'm so happy to have her home with me forever. My only regret is that Dr. Long stated Jenny was in pain, and he would sedate her before bringing her back to the exam room. I had asked him not to sedate her before I could see her again. He explained he was not putting her down, just sedating her. My deepest regret is the last time I saw her awake and alert she was being wheeled into the back. I could see that she was looking around for me. The next time I saw her she was sedated, I couldn't see her eyes and I don't know for sure she knew I was there. I wish I had done a Verte job of advocating for myself and Jenny. Other than that, they made an extremely painful experience as comforting as it could be. I would highly recommend Animal Medical Clinic.“
