“AND THE PLOT THICKENS!!! Patients of Alafaya Family Dentistry have recently reported that the receptionist, Aleisha Barolet, continues to defame the previous owner(s) and dentist of this family run practice, that they built over the past 3+ decades. This practice has also been a staple of the Oviedo and Seminole County community. It has been reported that she (Aleisha) is telling patients that there is an active lawsuit against the former owner. Additionally she stated that she was directed by corporate (Marquee Dental Partners) to state such narrative. A search of the public court records, not surprisingly, deems these accusations to be false. This is a clear example of how someone in the reception, or front desk role, should stay in their lane and leave any legal talk or discussions to the higher educated. Not to mention that such behavior is completely unprofessional and uncalled for. In addition, it has also been reported that Marquee Dental Partners, out of Nashville, TN has also reinstated the active employment of the employee, who they (Marquee) allegedly colluded with to frame and bring accusations of wrongdoing against the previous owner, in an attempt to force the previous owner out and essentially steel the practice from them. This is another clear misjudgement by the financially struggling corporation. A simple dive into the employee's background might show that stunts like this are a family tradition. Maybe that is why Marquee decided to allegedly colluded with her. Do your due diligence, folks. You do NOT want these freaks that now run this, and many other offices in the surrounding areas sticking their dirty fingers in your mouth.“

“Our Tongue & Lip Tie Journey

At just 6 weeks old, my baby had a tongue and lip tie release done by Dr. King, a pediatric dentist. His ties were severe — he was swallowing air excessively, constantly gassy and fussy after feeds, pulling off the breast, clicking during nursing, and just not feeding efficiently. His lip tie was so tight you couldn’t even see his top lip, and his gums would turn white if you tried to lift it. His tongue couldn’t reach the roof of his mouth, and he often slept with his mouth open. I could tell he was miserable, and it hurt to see — he was clearly uncomfortable, tense, and struggling.

I know there’s a lot of controversy around getting ties released, but I can confidently say it was the best decision we made. The entire process with Dr. King was seamless. We were seen within a week of calling, and he did the evaluation and procedure during the same visit. The actual release took just a few minutes, and I was able to nurse my baby immediately afterward.

I won’t sugarcoat it — your baby may be sore and fussy afterward, and the stretches are crucial — but just 10 days later, we have a completely different baby. He no longer swallows as much air, sleeps better, and actually enjoys tummy time instead of screaming from discomfort. His whole body looks more at ease, and he finally seems so much more relaxed and content.

If you’re on the fence or suspect your baby has a tongue or lip tie, I can’t recommend Dr. King enough. Trust your gut — I’m so glad I did.“
