When I needed an engineer to help me plan a new addition that I am building, I contacted LAV. This was probably the best decision that I made regarding this project. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional and passionate when it comes to their job. When the city/county required more information, I contacted Anthony and Carsen and they jumped right on the issue. They are not just there for the design and plans, they are there for you during the construction as well. That to me speaks volumes about their character as well as their profession. I required a licensed Engineer/Architect to review my proposed plans to replace an existing wood deck with a concrete patio that included new retaining walls and pergola as well as a new second story wood deck in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. LAV Engineering provided excellent advice and guidance regarding my proposal and was able to incorporate my plans with their revisions and comments. The digital plans were submitted to the City of Fort Lauderdale electronically and accepted and approved for construction without comment! The process from conceptual drawings to certified submission drawings was timely and surprisingly simple considering I am in Fort Lauderdale and LAV Engineering is in Ormond Beach.
