Our wrap-around deck was in total disrepair and a number of companies wouldn't even give us an estimate but the Handyman Company came out after our first call (which was answered immediately) gave us a very fair estimate and completed the job 2 days later. The work was first rate and the craftsman, Onasis, was very professional and courteous. We will definitely call again for our next project.
I have contracted three jobs with them so far. A difficult bathtub repainting which came out great. A concrete job involving the construction of a slab for my sagging chimney which was great. A replacement of fallen ceiling drywall in my garage, cleanup of insulation, painting and debris removal. While I was pleased the company sent out a drywall man the next day for emergency repair, the painting was substandard and had to be redone by another man. As the job prices were fair, had good scheduling, job quality mostly good, corrective action was fast, I can recommend them.
I had a hard time finding someone both qualified and willing to do build-back work (furring strips, vapor barrier, drywall and texture) following mold remediation in my living room. The Handyman Company was very responsive so I went with them. They scheduled someone to come out to start the job within a couple of days of me accepting the proposal.
Patrick worked full days and did a lot of work to put everything back so you could barely tell the walls had been cut out and gutted. He kept everything very clean throughout the process. I recommend Patrick.
