Having Dr George and her staff take care of my husband has been a very positive experience. Everyone is professional and kind. Dr. George takes time with him to explain everything and provide guidance.
When I visit AdventHealth, I love that I always see the same doctors that know my case and the same nurses that even if they're not attending me, say 'hi' to me by name and seem interested in my experiences and progress. I don't know if Disney World can still be rated the nicest place on earth for me anymore...lol...but I know every wheelchair pusher to surgeon I've had the honor to come in contact with, has had a terrific disposition and kind bedside manner. I usually hate even visiting people in a hospital, let alone having to be admitted to one. I give 3 stars only because the Sarah George, MD was good had great bedside manner. But as far as the wait I was waiting for 1 and half hours for what should have been a 15-20 min scheduled visit time slot by the time o was done with my visit it took 2 hours. I think that’s very inconsiderate of people time. And to only be told this is a normal thing for her clinic. That’s when you start feeling like it’s all about the money and how many patients they can squeeze in. Or just feel like a number. I think AdventHealth is not honoring the whole care experience when it comes to the long waiting periods. The office manager was nice offered some snacks and was very apologetic.
