My name is Scott Avera, and my mother Edita Avera has been stricken with Macular Degeneration for 13 years. When we visit Doctor Kraut's office for a scheduled ocular injection, my mother is apprehensive, to say the least, but with the care and understanding of his female staff, such as Jennifer, Tara, and Marcela, among others, she feels right at home and part of the family. I must say that it is a rarity to find sincerity and compassion in any medical office or institution today, but this is the quality I found with Dr. Kraut and his staff here at the Florida Retina Center. I am very glad my mother chose him over other doctors in his profession as he is top-notch in his expertise and even answers a call after hours. Doctor Kraut by far exhibits the true meaning of what it means to be a great doctor with standards that other medical practitioners can only envy. I want to take this opportunity to thank Doctor Kraut and his staff for the wonderful way they treat their patients and for the effort he invests in selecting a staff that exemplifies his own dedication to providing patients with quality care. I would highly recommend his services to any future patient that is searching for a doctor who cares about his patients and is well-known for his ability or skill to offer quality eye care procedures that offer promise for those who are faced with the challenges of vision impairment. 5 stars - Dr. Kraut is a wonderful Doctor & his team is attentive, caring & responsive to a patient’s needs. I called the office on a Saturday afternoon & he met me on a Sunday morning in his Ocoee office because of an eye hemorrhage & no vision. He was very communicative & thorough while examining my eye, as well as being very emphatic to my emergency. I would highly recommend Dr. Kraut as he has a caring, calm & confident demeanor. I feel very happy to have Dr. Kraut as my Ophthalmologist / Retina Specialist as he really cares about his patients & wants to make a difference in helping people maintain good eye health. He has truly made a difference in my life for which I will never forget, and I will always be grateful his expertise, compassion, & sacrifice.
