About Avalon School of Music
Avalon School of Music provides music lessons for students of all ages. The teachers are described as patient, knowledgeable, encouraging, super sweet, talented, and genuinely caring. Instructors are noted for their technical knowledge and ability to connect with students on a personal level, helping them to feel what they sing and unleash their true voice. Students have a really great time, love their lessons, and enjoy coming to the school. They learn so much and improve greatly as musicians. The school offers engaging and motivating classes, along with recitals and showcases that are very sweet and impressive. The administration is flexible with schedule changes, and even substitute teachers are wonderful. Overall, the experience is highly recommended, with families loving the place above all others and considering it a truly transformative experience that builds musical confidence.
My kiddos have been taking music lessons for a couple of years. I can say the teachers are talented and know exactly how to teach children to met their potential on a weekly basis.
I grew up a church musician on keyboard playing by ear, however, had no clue of any terminology nor theory. Avalon School of Music hooked me up with pro jazz theory where I learned modes and my confidence soared and I better understood what I was playing and where I could go. When I’m not busy I do go back to get a tune up and learn more at my own pace!
