Playing Bay Hill has been on my golf bucket list for years, and I finally had the chance to experience Arnold Palmer’s legendary course in Orlando. It completely lived up to the hype and then some. The staff is welcoming, professional, and genuinely makes you feel like you are part of the Bay Hill family, not just a visitor passing through.

Home of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, this PGA Tour course also features a lovely lodge hotel and excellent practice facilities. The most famous hole is the left dogleg over the lake, the par-5 6th, where in 2021 Bryson DeChambeau played it differently from everyone else—his tee shot reached near the green. We played from the regular tees, about 120 yards ahead of the tournament tees, but standing there made me realize just how incredible his drive was. It’s a very challenging course, and one I would gladly play again if I return.
