All surgery is performed at their state-of-the-art outpatient ambulatory surgery center in Ocala. Dr. Latif Hamed MD is named in Best Doctors in America and America's Best Physicians, and his daughter Dr. Nadine Hamed MD is the recipient of the Resident of the Year Award from UF Shands Hospital 2024. The staff is very friendly, funny, and engaging, and patients never feel rushed or ignored. Both Dr. Latif Hamed and Dr. Nadine Hamed are highly skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate, providing exceptional care to their patients.
This review is extremely past due but I want to say how grateful I am for finding Dr. Hamed. He literally changed my life in a few hours. I have struggled with this lazy eye for my entire life and endured bullying of all sorts and being treated negatively by many people because I guess I looked annoying. So I booked an appointment and he was so happy to help me with this issue. The surgery was on July 2024, short and painless. Recovery took about 2 weeks. I’ve been a patient of, Dr. Latif Hamed for eight years. He is an amazing doctor and I have complete confidence in him and his entire staff. His daughter, Dr. Nadine Hamed is every bit as qualified as her father and will give you her undivided attention. They both take the time to answer any questions.
