I changed primary care doctors because I thought I would get better care here. I'm beginning to realize that no matter where you go, you have to do all your own leg work. Seems like here,all they want to do is talk over you, and not listen. I was there three different times, saw three different people, two different doctors, and one nurse practitioner. The last doctor that I saw, didn't even have any idea what was in my chart, he didn't take the time to look at my previous blood work either. He was very rude, turned out he was aggravated at the first doctor I saw because evidently he didn't think she did her job. Every one from the Receptionists Renee and Dana, to the Medical Assistants Lorie and Katherine, also let me not forget about the Doctors. They are All friendly, courteous and very caring. They listen to you not only with their ears but the eyes too.
I have been in New Smyrna Beach for 13-14 years. I am so so pleased and happy plus grateful that I turned to Dr Lydia Lopez and was able to get her for my primary care. Because she cares, takes time with me. The doctor I had for the last 12-13 years I've been here ........... Sad, didn't spend time with me, a patient. And always had a excuse to what might be going on, never much sent me for any test etc...
