I cannot say enough wonderful things about Naples Coastal Animal Hospital, who has cared for my beloved Luigi for so many years. Their compassion, expertise, and genuine love for animals have always shone through in every visit. Luigi recently passed due to breathing issues, and while my heart is broken, I am deeply grateful for the extraordinary care he received throughout his life. From the very first appointment, Naples Coastal treated Luigi as if he were their own—gentle hands, patient explanations, and unwavering dedication. In his final days, they provided comfort not just to Luigi, but to me as well, ensuring he was surrounded by love, kindness and dignity. Their support, empathy, and professionalism made an incredibly painful time a little more bearable. Thank you to the entire team, from the bottom of my heart, for being a truly exceptional veterinarian. Luigi lived a long, happy life in large part because of your care, and I will always be grateful. They were very good a few years ago but now seem too busy for individualized care. I quit going as of 2025 due to this.

Professional, smart, compassionate and caring about the pet in their care and the people who love those pets. The team at Naples Coastal is at the top of the list of vets a pet could get to look after their health and wellbeing. If a six star review was possible they would have earned it.

Dr. Alessi and staff were AMAZING. I went in for my first consult and shots for the prince of the house, Leo. Everybody was incredibly friendly and knowledgable, and I never once felt rushed. Most importantly- they were gentle and kind to Leo. He did not seem stressed. 10/10 recommendation for Dr. Alessi and Naples Coastal Animal Hospital in general!

Bonus: They were transparent about pricing (which was reasonable), and didn't try to talk me into anything I didn't need.

When I selected Naples Coastal Animal Hospital 2 years ago, based on stellar reviews, I truly had no idea just how wonderful this practice is. Dr. Alessi helped our Lucy (Pomeranian) with her heart troubles and made excellent recommendations. Her diagnosis and care were spot on. Then, this week when we needed her the most, she and her team, Crystal, Fatima and receptionist Sophie were there for us. We lost our beautiful Rasputin, he was a 200lb Caucasian Ovcharka. The compassion, care and the willingness to go above and beyond without our even asking was tremendous. Out Beloved Big Boy was handled by the team so gently with such love, along with me and my husband who were so broken hearted. We would never take our babies anywhere else for care. We are clients for life.

Serious Ethical Breach by Naples Coastal Animal Hospital – Pet Owners Beware After more than a year of taking my German Shepherd to Naples Coastal Animal Hospital, I was abruptly and without ANY prior notice informed by the practice manager that the facility would no longer provide care for my 8 year old dog. There was no discussion, no warning, and no opportunity to make arrangements for my pet’s ongoing care. This abrupt termination left us with no veterinary facility to care for his ongoing medical needs or to handle any emergencies, a completely unacceptable situation for any pet or pet owner. The excuse given was that they “no longer had room” for him. I believe the real reason was that we didn't make an appointment fast enough to meet their new veterinarian, an appointment that would have allowed them to bill for services our pet did not need. Additionally, a pre-scheduled appointment for November 2025 for his annual wellness visit was also canceled without warning. Worse the facility never notified us that the veterinarian who had been caring for our dog, the entire time, we were clients was leaving. Simply they canceled his booked veterinary wellness appointment and informed us they would no longer care for our dog. This conduct, in my view, constitutes cruelty to animals and a blatant disregard for the humane treatment of pets. Terminating care in this manner is not only poor veterinary care service, it is a serious violation of long-standing ethical standards for veterinary practice and can constitute abandonment, a violation of Florida veterinary law. These standards exist to protect the welfare of animals and the trust of the people who care for them. In my view, Naples Coastal Animal Hospital failed to uphold them. Based on this uncaring, terrible experience, I strongly urge other pet owners to carefully consider whether to entrust the care of, the pets we love, to this facility. #naplesflorida #naplesfl #naples

Dr. Sigmond and her staff are TRULY the best in Naples.
I recently rescued the two kitties below, Athena and Adonis, and Dr. Sigmond made time in her schedule to check them out as soon as possible.
Both were vaccinated, examined, and Adonis was neutered. Athena was a TNR that I took in when she came to my lanai several times.
The entire staff is friendly, caring, and professional.
They go out of their way to make sure you and your pets are treated with respect and love.

Hands down the BEST vet I have ever been too. I just wish they were closer. Went in yesterday with our pup possible minor acl tear to talk about PRP. Dr. Sara and the vet tech were knowledgeable, helpful, caring and just the sweetest. I didn’t feel like a dollar sign. They truly cared and took time to talk with us. They didn’t rush us out. They let us ask all our questions and discussed a plan. Sara didn’t push the PRP and said to hold on for now. But gave us all the info we needed plus some holistic options as well for my dogs joint issues. I seriously can not say enough good things about our experience at this vet. I just wish they were closer to Fort Myers. I will tough out the traffic if I need to for any bigger issues with our pup, they are completely worth it. Highly highly recommend!!!!!
