Dr. Valencia took the time to answer all our questions, and we left feeling confident about entrusting our newborn's care to Children's Medical Association.“

“My 12 year old daughter has been a patient of pediatric opthalmology consultants since she was 2 months old and mostly has seen Dr. Kanterman as far back as I can remember anway. She has been to both offices (back when there was one in Boca which I miss) anyway, Dr. Kanterman is a great Dr. He is very friendly and professional. He performed strabismus surgery on my daughter with nystagmus when she was 5 years old - this surgery went so well, and helped my daughter tremendously in life. We continue to see Dr. Kanterman every year still and he always gets to us quickly and approaches us professionally but also in a caring way that puts my daughter at ease it's one of the few Dr offices she is comfortable going to. They always remember her and just that extra effort in remembering her helps put her at ease. She hates the drops, always has... But the way they have handled her complete melt downs when it came to the drops over the years was always patient and professional which over time has helped calm her nerves when it came to doing the drops. Luckily as she has gotten older she handles the drops a lot better now. But with my other child I see the differance in how the optometrist he sees handles the drops compared to the way this office does and they have a much nicer and calming approach. My sons Dr. made him feel like crap for being nervous about the drops I actually never brought him back to that office again but that's another story for a differant Dr. There really is not a thing I can say that is negative about this office. Maybe the waiting room could be a little brighter, but other than the office staff are just fine, and assistant we see right before the Dr is great also I wish I knew her name because she is amazing and always remembers us as well... I am so thankful to Dr. Kanterman for what he has done for my daughter over the years! He is a great Opthamologist extremly Kind, knowledgable, patient and great at dealing with kids.“
