This medical center always was excellent unfortunately the last two weeks lt has been imposible to call, they put you on hold and 15 minutes later you call is transferred or disconnected. I cant even schedule an appointment for my mother, I dont know what has happened but service has deteriorated. They answered the review and provided a customer service # for me to call, guess what same issue, was placed on hold was not able to speak with anyone.

Unfortunately, my recent experience has been very different from when I first wrote my review. For the past two weeks, I’ve been trying to schedule an ear appointment for my mom. I’ve called more than 20 times, only to be placed on hold and then transferred to the message center after about 15 minutes each time. I’ve left several messages with my phone number and my mom’s full name, but I have yet to receive a return call.
My mom has an upcoming hearing aid fitting, and we were told she needs to have ear wax removed by a doctor beforehand. We scheduled the fitting a month after her hearing test to allow enough time, but now we’re running out of time because we can’t get this appointment set. It’s very disappointing. My mom has been coming here for years, and she has always been treated with respect and kindness. From the moment she walks in, she’s greeted by name. They know her family history and genuinely ask about her loved ones. Their professionalism is matched by heartfelt care. RH

On 8/24 a driver form La Colonia Pharmacy Services came to our home to deliver medicine to my father, who lives at this property, too. Our gate happened to be open and the person walked up to the glass front door. Our dogs began barking, and from the other side of the glass, I asked the person to place it on the ground and that I would retrieve it after he was gone. I am alone at the house, and I do not feel safe opening the door to strangers. I should not be obligated to open my door to a strange man--regardless of what he is delivering. He arrived in an unmarked white minivan. The person became increasingly angry and aggressive because I was not opening the door. He then flung the medication against the ground, yelled a profanity and left. I then called the pharmacy and spoke to a supervisor by the name of Erick. This person was equally aggressive, yelling over the phone, and demanding that I open my door to sign an iPad. I do not feel I should be obligated to open doors to strangers--pharmacy driver or not. The supervisor, Erick, stated that my father would not be getting his medication, unless we sign the iPad. We have a gate that is usually closed, and it was open by chance. Furthermore, No one is usually at the house at the time these people make deliveries, and finally, my father should not be denied his medications because we do not open the door to strangers to sign an iPad. I was literally in front of the person, on the other side of the glass. This is a safety matter that needs to be taken seriously. If I give the confirmation to leave the medication, I feel my civil rights have been severely violated, as this business is forcing me to open the doors to strangers. I am NOT seeking money or retribution; I am seeking the right to have the medication dropped off inside our mailbox, placed on the ground on the other side of the gate, or on our front porch (if the gate is open). My father shouldn't be denied his meds due to drivers/supervisors on power trips.

this place does not make any distinctions to patient that are delicate, meaning don't offer appointments, or any solutions all they care is about their procedures, however, the care should be focused on the patients care. The believe that by sending transportation (thankfully I am able to drive and accompany my father to the appointments) to a patient diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Parkinson & Diabetes type 1 who a the moment requires assistance at all times will solve the issue. My father is in critical condition and I am asked to bring him to the hospital because the new doctor cannot sign a document for his long term care as he needs to "verify" which brings me to believe that for the past 8 years he has been attended by a non qualified doctor? I called to ask for an appointment to comply and was told unfortunately they cannot make an exception event though I was explicit explaining why my dad cannot be bother to go to see the doctor for something that to my understanding should be kept in their repository. I was not asking for much I believe, just considering the situation that my father is undergoing, he gets sick with movement, which can cause him a stroke. This place offers a supposed card to purchased goods and its only linked to Walmart which does not offer products for a diabetic patient only unsweetened candy or cookies La Colonia staff might be polite; however, not helpful - the issue at core is not solved; therefore, I will be switching my father to another health provider & I caution future users of this service, specially if your loved ones are undergoing critical health conditions

Old people don't know how to complain. The food IS NOT SERVING. The poor old people who have no one to cook for them go hungry because they cannot eat what they are given for “lunch.” They say they are not going to improve it because the cook is the owner's family.
