So much for the Spirit of Service and Inclusivity. The property remains pristine, and in fact they have added a few amenities that make the spa even better. Unfortunately they have lost touch with their spirit of service, allowed the fake South Beach culture to penetrate into how they conduct business. The story they tell of who they are is no longer authentic, and the experience they provide is now reserved for the few. This place is now like countless others, selling out, losing their way. So much fun!!! We flew in early to meet with one of my vendors prior to a cruise so we had two extra nights to spend in Miami and picked the Standard. So glad we stayed here!!! The pool is a blast and the guests/staff have fantastic energy. Special thank you to Fabio, one of the hotel Ambassadors, who went out of his way to make us feel special and welcomed. What the room we stayed in lacked in interior space (modest, not tiny, but still very well appointed) was more than made up with our curtained terrace and outdoor tub (yes, taking a hot bath on the terrace was absolutely yummy and you can special order soaking salts to be delivered from the spa - and you should!)....read full review
