Tight squeeze between other adjacent properties limits the amount of sun available for loungers etc. Beach staff try hard but overwhelmed by guest numbers and lack of support (clean towels, etc) waited over 30 minutes but no beach towels arrived from the hotel to support the guys at the beach.
My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon last week and had a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional and the pool area leads right out onto the boardwalk and the beach. Your stay includes beach chairs and towels as well to add to the convenience. The poolside food is really good and the location is unbeatable. The only things we did not like were that the weather was not the warmest and the pool was not heated and gets a lot of shade. The king sized bed was also pretty hard/uncomfortable. Regardless, we will definitely be back for the pros we mentioned!
This hotel needs some serious TLC! The hotel in general is pretty beat up...the carpets are stained horribly throughout, the furniture is beat up and damaged, walls have holes and damaged. Our door to our room had paint chipped off all over. The 1st day at the beach, we were told that umbrellas were extra charge, being a bonvoy member I was taken back by this. I have stayed at multiple Miami Beach hotels and never had to pay extra for an umbrella. The lobby bar was not open on Saturday but it was Sunday which seemed odd. When we ordered a 2nd round if drinks at the bar, the bartender asked if we wanted the same glass. Overall, what they charge to stay here does not match...read full review
