Had an amazing experience with the care my 90yo mother received after a very bad fall down a flight of stairs head first. The care and concern from the doctors, nurses and ancillary staff was outstanding. Erica and Dr. Michael Shalaby were incredible, and I am thankful for such amazing medical professionals.
It is unfortunate that the oral surgeon that didn't come in, also refused to see her in his office unless she paid a 600$ deposit, and then would only see her a week later!!!! So we were very fortunate to find a different compassionate and devoted oral surgeon to treat her fracture, in a timely manner. I would like to commend Elizabeth Kittay, a social worker at Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Center in Miami Beach, Florida. Elizabeth is an exceptional social worker who has demonstrated a deep commitment to helping my father and our family navigate the difficult healthcare challenges as my dad has been undergoing cancer treatment for the last 2 years. Having stage 4 prostate cancer for four years and experiencing MD's in a couple of other places, no place is perfect for everyone. My oncologist is great. Always on time and always has time to hear my concerns. Please be kind, you dont know what the MD was coming from before seeing you. As a patient, be kind rewind. Its tough for everyone. Blessings.
