I fly in from several states away every month just to see her, and that alone says everything. She specializes in black skin and uses natural products, which made me feel confident I was in the right hands from day one.
I originally went to Eva for permanent hair removal on my face and neck and to treat the hyperpigmentation it caused. She took the time to thoroughly explain what my skin needed and approached everything holistically. Since starting my treatments, the coarse hair is basically gone. And the dark marks have faded dramatically. My skin has improved so much in both texture and tone.
Eva is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and consistent. If you’re serious about your skin you must see Eva.

I called to ask for prices and the lady owner was very rude. She needs to learn some matters, and lower that ego. Also the responses she gave in the other negative coments confirm how rude she is. Very bad vibes.

Eva, is one of the best people I’ve ever met. Beyond her expertise and knowledge; she is one of the most caring and passionate human beings. I have suffered from PCOS/poor skin/facial hair/ for over 10 years. It wasn’t until I came to Eva last year that I truly got the help and genuine love that I needed. Knowledgeable, caring plus the laser hair removal results are life changing - no more dark spots! As someone with dark skin I did a lot of research before committing - very happy with my decision. I have seen about 80% reduction in hair growth in a little over a year.

I'm writing this review because you need to know, you do not have to suffer in silence. You do not have to walk with your head held low. You do not have to turn your head in a certain angle to avoid the stares or questions of you having a beard. I was there. I was the girl shaving and worrying about a five o'clock shadow. I was the woman using Nair because it gave me a cleaner shave but overtime grew a sensitivity to it so I switched over to the Sensitive Nair. The sensitive Nair didn't work as well and it still burned. And yes, I did use it as the bottle instructed. I've tried threading. That's a whole new level to the meaning of "pain is beauty." I've tried waxing. The worse feeling of having to let your hair grow long enough to be waxed and leave the salon with part of your skin missing because the wax was too hot or skin too thin because of the prior treatments. At least that's what the technician told me. That teen to adult female battling with unwanted facial hair, that was me! This is my story! This may be your story now but it doesn't have to be. There is hope. There is a better solution that will give long lasting results. If you take advantage of the services that Eva provides at Bayharbour Medspa, you won't regret it. My only regret thus far is that I haven't found Eva sooner. 'Why?' you ask, because Eva uses a special laser treatment that targets dark hairs that is safe for dark melanated skin. When you begin growing gray hairs, you now need another hair removal technique called electrolysis prior to the laser hair treatment. You may be wondering, is it worth it? 1000x yes!
