GERIATRIC PILATES Ok, I took 1 class here. I texted the owner prior to class to confirm my attendance and follow any COVID restrictions. Not 1 question about my current age or fitness level. You would think the owner/ trainer would tell me the class is 100% ladies in their 70's and older so if you want an actual Pilates workout to come to another class. NO! She just let me suffer and waist my time and money. I Did not even break a sweat. It's great these older ladies are taking Pilates class it's the owner/teachers responsibility to group students according to fitness level. I want a refund!!
Maria and her team are incredible instructors for all skill levels. She helped me fully recover from injuries sustained in several car accidents and today I’m strong, lean and full of energy. I’m forever grateful and love all that Pilates has to offer.
I have been a client of Maria's for at least 8 years 3 times a week. I have scoliosis which causes different issues that Maria works with me on. She worked with me for a year getting me in the best shape I could be in for a surgery on my spine that involved surgically have two rods put along my spine from below my shoulder blades to my waist. I was physically ready for the surgery and recovered at a good pace. Once able I started backup with Maria. She works specifically on issues that each client needs addressed. I have the highest respect for Maria's vast knowledge of how the body works and how pilates has improved my overall movement and health.
