At first, they were the only company to respond to my text asking for a quote to grind down a rotting tree stump left in our front yard. I was very grateful to hear it would only be $100. I emphasized that I want to make sure to get any remainder beneath the surface, too, and I was assured their machine would go 10-12 inches deeper and get it all. After they finished the job, there was mulch left all over the driveway because their leaf blower was out of gas and the mulch pile was larger than expected, which defeated the purpose for me to even remove the stump because my goal was to avoid termites. They broke my sidewalk! Then replaced it!The crew could have ghosted me and left me with a yard full of lumber and a sidewalk to fix, but they came back to finish the job and paid to have the sidewalk repaired.I was referred to C&H and a couple of other tree/stump removal companies when I needed to get my full-grown live oak tree removed. C&H came in at the middle of the quotes and ended up out-bidding the competition which was a relief because CJ seemed much more experienced and professional than the one-man-crew with the lower initial bid.
