“I did a trial period of 1 month and enjoyed every class. The instructors were kind, patient and extremely helpful in displaying correct form, stances and discipline. One instructor in particular ensured every class had a sprinkle of humor while doing the strenuous workouts. Overall, I had a good time. The only drawback during my short stint was the limited adult classes. Quality, A1.“

“Our two girls have been attending Hero Academy for about 6 months (in the Tigers and Little Heroes classes respectively). We wanted them involved in something that would make them feel strong and confident, and counteract the negative messages that girls receive about their bodies and being strong in general. The girls LOVE it. I’ve never had such an easy time getting them to an extracurricular activity- no grumbling, they’re always ready to go to karate. Sensei Michael is a dedicated and gifted teacher who cares deeply for his students and always engages with the parents as well. He creates a firm, structured but also super fun, caring and encouraging environment that has strengthened the confidence of both girls. It has been tough to get them there twice a week but it’s worth it!Here is what they had to say:From the 9 year old: you think about karate you might think of punching and kicking. But at Hero Academy we do a lot of fun games like ninja and samurai that help us learn. The more you learn, the better you will learn karate and other things you wouldn’t learn regularly. It’s a good way to push your limits and get out of your comfort zone- and it’s REALLY fun.From the 6 year old: Sensei is the nicest sensei I have heard of and he helps me learn in a happy way, not a sad and grumpy way. “This is the best Martial arts and yoga by far, my son has going here since we moved to Florida in 2018. They are very flexible and treat their customers like family. Master Robertson is an exceptional teacher, you would not regret signing yourself or your child up for classes. Miss Lisa is always on point and never had an issue when my son use to be picked up for afterschool program. My son love taking the extra yoga class on Wednesday's with Mas Rob. It's a wonderful place to be, if u want to ease your mind and just breathe, such a positive environment. “My first interaction with Top Team was over the phone. The phone was answered right away, and the person on the other line, Xena, was super friendly, knowledgeable, clear, and helpful. When I went to visit and watch a class, she was really just great and made me feel comfortable. The vibe and energy in the space was really friendly and inviting, there was a great lounge area, and even spaces for dogs!The people are really welcoming and friendly! I haven't been a member for very long and I really already feel like I'm part of the team. There are so many different belt levels, women, and practitioners of all ages.Definitely recommend.“

“Just went to this spot for a kickboxing class and all I can say is "what a class". It was amazing, it was a mix of kickboxing and legs plus some cardio. I loved it, it was around 45 minutes but great for beginners or more gym junkies like me. The kickboxing part was definitely my favorite, Najib taught me some great techniques that I can apply for self defense. Definitely coming back for another great session.“

“The dojang might looks small from the outside, but the inside is spacious. The instructors are passionate and responsive. They don’t only teach martial arts but also action body practices to help people stay healthy physically and mentally. It’s a great dojang for after school program (they have vans picking up students from nearby schools) and martial art classes for children and adults. The belt tests are enjoyable.“
