At 9:30 PM on a very hot Sunday evening in Loxahatchee, FL, our AC stopped working after a typical Florida lightning storm. I knew we had a serious problem because the compressor circuit breaker would trip immediately with a loud buzzing sound.
After calling three other local HVAC companies, I finally reached Ryan at Tri County HVAC. He answered on the third ring, listened to what was happening, and was at my home within 20–30 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem as an internal compressor failure.
