They generally recommend nail trims every 8–10 weeks, but one of our dogs simply doesn’t need them that frequently. Instead of trying to sell us on a schedule she doesn’t need, they have always been completely comfortable with us extending her appointments to around 14–16 weeks.
What we appreciate most is that they adapt their approach to the individual needs and comfort level of each dog rather than expecting every dog to adapt to the same routine.
