This team is very committed to the well being and individualized care of their clients .Dr Catherine is extremely knowledgeable in Hashimoto's and the importance of a gluten free diet for relief of symptoms as well as hormone levels ,and np thyroid as a option if needed. A caring Doctor is hard to find .look no more!

I’ve been going here on and off over the last couple of years. I find Dr. Catherine to be very thorough. I have seen many doctors concerning my health issues. Dr. Catherine is one of the few doctors that actually takes the time to listen and tries to run as many test as possible to get to the root cause. I haven’t found a root cause yet, but I feel seen and heard, and I feel like she is exhausting as many avenues as possible to identify the root issue.

I had a health issue going on and other doctors were sure I needed an immediate surgery. I didn’t feel peace about the surgery, I just thought there’s no way this young and healthy I should go do such an invasive procedure that has a lot of dangerous side effects (also scared of the what ifs, if I don’t do the procedure and I’m wrong). My mom heard of this doctor hopeful and doing anything to avoid this surgery, I called to see what they said. Dr Blount was only one available to get an appointment with which turned out to be a huge blessing. my issue was time sensitive so I saw him & he listened for an hour to me, everything I had to say. Assured me that I was not crazy, the research I had done that my other doctors had never heard of, was accurate. Patient, kind, wise, knowledgeable, gentle man. He heard me and did exactly what I wanted him to do, with his guidance and recommendations and a few months later I had tests ran with a primary care doctor (who was very skeptical of whoever I went to go see as she had never heard of this working) and I’m completely healed. Clear tests. When she called to give me results she told me she looked him up after I had left her office and in fact she very impressed by his resume. I believe anywhere Dr Blount goes, I’ll follow for guidance for as long as he practices. Specifically, I would request to see him if you go here. Amazing doctor.

I have been through the ringer medically and was looking for a place that would hear my concerns and work with me to create a treatment plan. “Doctor” Catherine looks great on paper and they assured me she was familiar with and even an expert on treating my condition. When i met with her however, she was extremely unprofessional and tried to force me into a cookie cutter treatment that i could not afford. What’s more is she got visibly angry with me when i asked if there was any research published on what she was telling me to do. This person is unqualified to treat patients and i hope this place gets shut down. My medical history was taken by a very nice man who was actually an MD but i could tell he was a contractor who was beholden to Catherine’s whims. He would try to interject on my behalf and get shut down immediately by her though she didn’t listen to my history at all nor seem to care, she just wanted my money. My blood for the labs ordered were taken by a nurse in a Solaris uniform leading me to believe any actual medical professional in this establishment is a 1099 contractor trying to make some extra money on the side. They also sell pyramid scheme products on the lobby and make unrealistic claims about everything they’re doing there. Overall a very poor and very expensive experience I’m not eager to repeat.

If I could give this a ZERO rating I would. Overall I had a shockingly awful experience! My first visit went ok. However, my second visit was scheduled to go over labs and a food allergy/sensitivity test performed by KBMO Diagnostics. Catherine greeted my husband and I with a steady cough wearing a mask under her chin, insisting that she was NOT contagious. She made no attempt to wear the mask on her face! Sadly she got my husband very sick. On the way home, I called her office to verify why the KBMO test said I can eat gluten, amongst other things to which I have a strong allergic reaction. I could have ended up in the hospital! Several follow up calls and over a week later, Catherine called and left a muffled Voice message - incomprehensible. I immediately called her back, she did not answer and proceeded to text me while I was calling her, demanding that I never call her number or text her, and that if I needed my question answered I must be willing to make another appointment for another paid visit. Well don’t worry Catherine, you won’t be seeing my face again in your office, nor getting another phone call from me. I would never recommend anyone to your practice! These people are clearly incompetent at providing professional and safe patient care. I’m still waiting to have the $325.00 I paid for the KBMO test refunded. This request has been ignored. The conflicting test results could have landed me in the hospital! In summary, Catherine proved to be unprofessional, rude, uncaring, not practicing good hygiene protocol, extremely dismissive…more focused on getting more of my money, rather than providing the care I had already paid for! Additionally she provided tests results that were inconclusive and contradictory with no clarifications which could have seriously damaged my health.

Dr. Catherine Onuoha is an incredible holistic natural medicine practitioner. She was the first person that seemed to care for my son, and not the pharmaceutical machine, though respect the use of medication as needed in crisis. After much treatment, including inpatient psychiatric care, he became stable for the first time in over four months when she took his case and after the first appointment. She immediately withdrew two medications we had tried to tell other providers were making him worse. She then increased the dosage of the one that seemed to help a little. For the first time in months he slept all night and continued for two weeks while finally stabilizing. Once stable, she was able to decrease his dose gradually so that he was able to maintain his stability and come out of his crisis over the next two months and still is sleeping and stable. Additionally, she added many alternative treatments that helped, including infusions with glutathione to detox his liver and heal his body. She provided neurofeedback that noticeably improved his attention. She offered outside referrals as needed to integrate his holistic care. Her counseling and encouragement aided him in becoming motivated to grow and move forward. Her staff were all a blessing to me and my son, and treated us as family at a time when we had been out on the edge. We were treated with love and kindness not found in traditional medicine practice. I encourage all to seek out a new method of good health that is truly about improving your health through Dr. Catherine, as well as her colleagues at this office practice, that was certainly a Godsend for me and my son. We have our lives back. We love them and will miss them, and it was a blessing to live in Lakeland while he acquired this wonderful care. Thank you Dr. Catherine and thank you to all the staff, thank you Linda, Hannah and Jessica. We miss you.

Dr. Catherine has been my primary doc since I moved to Florida. She’s helped me through many health issues and given me answers western docs refuse to even look into. She’s been amazing.
